The R. Bruce Merrifield Award

Endowed by Dr. Rao Makineni (1997)

The Merrifield Award, presented at the biennial symposia, recognizes the lifetime achievement of a peptide scientist, whose work exemplifies the highest level of scientific creativity.

You may nominate an individual by electronically submitting a primary nomination letter (1,000 word limit), secondary (supporting) letter (500 word limit), and nominee's curriculum vitae to the APS Awards Committee Chair, Samuel H. Gellman, at gellman@chem.wisc.edu prior to September 1, 2008. This award will be presented during the 21st APS Symposium to be held in Bloomington, Indiana in June 2009.
